We invite you to visit Pelion, the mountain of Myths that will inspire your spirit and soothe your soul, combined with holiday programs, which aim to lead you to the emancipation of the spirit from matter, emphasizing the “effort” of the individual and “self-discipline” for the sake of which the concentration of the Spirit is accomplished.

Pelion is the place that offers inspiration and also helps the visitor to relax, giving moments of tranquility and revitalization. We offer you the options with the best possible practices, through experienced associates. A hiking in this place, known for its abundance of medicinal herbs, and a dive in the crystal waters of the Aegean or Pagasetic Gulf, can convince even the most skeptical that this area is a blessing. Each member of the group, from the beginner to the advanced, will receive individual attention in a relaxed atmosphere by our highly qualified teachers. With many years of experience, they approach their students with great enthusiasm and are totally committed to them.

 Yoga practice.

The yoga classes taught cover the physical teachings of Hatha yoga with emphasis on the spiritual and holistic aspects of the yoga tradition. They include Asanas, Pranayama (Breathing practices) and Meditation.

Our yoga tour generally lasts 10 to 14 days.

During this period we have two yoga practices every day and two days off (free of yoga practice).

Every other day we have morning yoga class, which starts at 7:30 and lasts about an hour and a half. We do a lot of Pranayama and soft Hatha yoga practice which is meant to give us strength for the rest of our day.

Evening yoga class usually starts around 17:00 and differs from the morning one. During this class we do power balances as well as advanced Asanas for stretching. In the end of the evening class we usually do meditation.

Some of the aspects that we cover in yoga tour are:

1) Pranayamas – the basics of breathing techniques;

2) Asanas for chest-pelvis opening and for spine stretching;

3)  Series of asanas for healthy back;

4)  Inverted (upside-down) asanas;

5) The secrets of mastering arm balance asanas;

6)  Relaxation, meditation for aura healing, for steadiness of mind and body.

  The theoretical part of yoga tour covers the following topics:

1)  Correct way of doing each asana and how to breathe.

2) “Healthy back” – the do`s and don’ts if you have back problems.

3)  The basics of building your own practice.

 What you get from the yoga tour

Yoga is not a substitute for remedy or medication, though it can significantly reduce daily stress. Pranayamas and asanas help you relieve mental and muscle tension, calm your mind and strengthen immunity as well as find perfect balance in your body.

Day 1

Day 1

Arrival in Pelion. Transfer from the airport of Thessaloniki or Volos or other upon request to Agios Ioannis in East Pelion. We meet our yoga instructor for a briefing of the program we will follow. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 2

Day 2

Yoga courses. Early in the morning we start our yoga class with our experienced yoga teacher that lasts approximately one hour and thirty minutes. We repeat the yoga class in the afternoon with a different program appropriate for closing our day. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 3

Day 3

Full day excursion to Meteora.  After our rich breakfast with local products of Pelion, we start our tour to Meteora. Transfer to Kalampaka and Meteora, visit of two monasteries, lunch in a tavern in Kalampaka. In the afternoon we return to Agios Ioannis. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 4

Day 4

Free day in Agios Ioannis. A free day in Agios Ioannis to enjoy the sun and the sea. Visit of the beaches Papa Nero and Plaka. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 5

Day 5

Yoga courses.  Early in the morning we start our yoga class with our experienced yoga teacher that lasts approximately one hour and thirty minutes. We repeat the yoga class in the afternoon with a different program appropriate for closing our day. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 6

Day 6

Full day excursion with the Little train of Pelion. After our rich breakfast with local products of Pelion, transfer to Ano Lehonia and take the traditional little train for a ride up to Milies village. We visit the historic library and the traditional church of Pamegisti Taxiarhes. Lunch in a traditional tavern and in the afternoon we return to Agios Ioannis.

Yoga courses. Early in the morning we start our yoga class with our experienced yoga teacher that lasts approximately one hour and thirty minutes. We repeat the yoga class in the afternoon with a different program appropriate for closing our day. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 8

Day 8

Full day excursion with boats in the coasts of East Pelion. After our rich breakfast with local products of Pelion, we start our boat trip from the port of Agios Ioannis to the coasts of East Pelion, swimming and time to relax under the sun in the beaches of Mylopotamos, Fakistra and Limnionas, we visit the little port of Damouchari, where we have a light lunch and in the afternoon we return to Agios Ioannis. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.
Day 9

Yoga courses.  Early in the morning we start our yoga class with our experienced yoga teacher that lasts approximately one hour and thirty minutes. We repeat the yoga class in the afternoon with a different program appropriate for closing our day. Dinner and overnight stay in Boutique Kentrikon Hotel in Agios Ioannis.

Transfer to the airport. After breakfast, we transfer to the airport of Thessaloniki or Volos or other upon request.

The services included in the program:
1. Transfer by bus/mini bus from airport of Thessaloniki or Volos airport or another upon request to the hotel and return (days 1 and 10).
2. Transfers by bus/mini bus as indicated in the program (days 3, 6).

Nine (9) nights in double standard room.
4. Nine (9) breakfasts.

Three (3) lunches (days 3, 6, 8)
6. Nine (9) dinners.

Escort (days 1, 3, 6, 8, 10).

Yoga courses with experienced trainer as indicated in the program (days 2, 5, 7, 9).

Full day tour in Meteora (day 3).

Full day tour by little train of Pelion (day 6).

Full day boat trip in the coasts of East Pelion with escort (day 8).
