At the time you begin to dive it is not possible to know everything that is necessary about diving. Hence you will receive important information about diving and the necessary equipment. Qualified instructors and the right equipment will lead you and help you throughout this unique underwater experience.
The Diving Pelion School is located in Leda Hotel in Horto, and is based in Afissos, Pelion, offering responsible training for amateurs and above all safety for all levels, as well as first aid training with the latest required standards.
Beginners have the opportunity to participate with us on an introductory dive under totally controlled environment and safe conditions either to make a first acquaintance with the process of diving, or to acquire, by participating, an internationally recognized Open Water Diver Diploma. The area is ideal for diving throughout the year, regardless of the weather. The water, being crystal blue and limpid, provides ideal conditions, offering perfect underwater vision, while the underwater morphology is most impressive.

We take care of your transfer from your hotel to the diving school whether it’s a day trip for a brief encounter with the rich underwater world of our region or a multi-day program, organized for you by our agency. The region allows us to organize our diving trips to many unique diving destinations; to the small islands and rocky isles of the Pagasetic Gulf, to Argyroniso and the surrounding islands of Pagasetic Gulf, to the eastern coasts of Pelion and the Aegean Sea, Lefteris reef and Pontikonisi.

I’ve been to many great diving locations around the world, including the Great Barrier Reef in my home country, but diving in the Pagasitikos Gulf and the shipwrecks at Lefteris Reef in the Aegean with the guys of the Pelion Diving Center is always a real treat. Why? I’ve been on several occasions and diving experiences which range from enjoying the beauty of brightly coloured gorgonian corals to actually swimming with dolphins (and in one instance a Monachus seal!) simply never fail to impress. And Pelion Diving has the expertise and professionalism to show it all to you in such a way that you just want to go back for more!
