Taking advantage of modern four-wheel-drive cars, -unknown for the most holders- and plentiful forest roads that run the mountainous backbone of Greece, we created the necessary conditions with our partners to propose trails and adventure ideas from known mountain and summer resorts of Thessaly tot he ones lost in the peaks of the mountains.

Apart from the desired which in this case is … dirt, the main feature of the proposed escapes will not be the difficulty of the mountain range but the incredible beauty and unique images. We put the idea, and all you have to do is get organized.

What the guide needs to know:

The information contained in our proposals in no way replaces the use of tools such as GPS and detailed maps. On each trip on dirt roads, it would be wise to start at least with two vehicles while always the most experienced driver or a connoisseur of the region in our case, “our man” should be ahead. The standard equipment for every four-wheel-drive vehicle necessarily includes a belt, shovel, ax, flashlight, pharmacy, and before getting started we do a check on the mechanical parts of the car and the spare tire and ensure that we have filled the tank. Improvisation is good, but it is preferable to have planned our course in advance and deviate from it as little as possible. Before we begin, we are informed about the weather, even in summer. In no way should we overestimate the capabilities of our vehicle.

The correct driver is above self-interest and self-fulfillment challenges, knowing when to back off. When we see pedestrians or cyclists or herd of animals we cut speed. The mountain and the forest roads are for everyone. Unnecessary off-road movement can cause serious and not always visible damage to rare ecosystems. We have designed routes for East and North Pelion and Kissavos Mountains. The last is divided into two parts, a valley in the north called  ” Megalo Faraggi (Grand Canyon)” and in the south, ” Megalo Rema (Grand Stream).”  In conjunction with areas of significant interest. RAVELER EXPERIENCE

We gathered a large group from Athens and Thessaloniki for a trip to Pelion. We all had a love, a passion. The Off-road experience. We also found a Pelionite with the same passion but also the owner of a hotel and a company of activities in nature, Doit Stamatis with an amazing white Land Rover. Three days of escape on routes that only Stamatis could discover, record, and lead us safely but also with great care, with details that surprised us. The adventure came when we left the low altitudes with the dirt roads and climbed the snowy paths.
